Step1: Go to your WordPress admin panel and click on Customize under the Appearance menu in the left sidebar as like below:

Now you will be able to find the option Select Site Icon under the Site Icon.
Now you need to select your favicon image from your saved location. This favicon icon will show next to the website title when you publish your site.
